Biggest Turkey

This year’s Biggest Turkey Challenge contestants ARE:

Diane Longaker, Resource Development Coordinator for the YCAP Food Bank

Diane Longaker, Resource Development Coordinator for the YCAP Food Bank, is a proud community member not only believing strongly in the work she does with YCAP (Yamhill Community Action Partnership) but the life changing work done by ALL the other non-profit organizations here in McMinnville and our surrounding areas.

Diane is very active in the community volunteering with several organizations, seems that turkeys don’t need to sleep.  She finds absolute joy in all her volunteer work! She is beyond delighted with her career work with the YCAP Food Bank.  With the most dynamic and hardworking dedicated team, YCAP partners with 17 food pantries and 6 meal sites throughout Yamhill County, providing our neighbors in need with over 1.5 million pounds of food per year.  Food is a basic need and when 1 in 5 people don’t know where their next meal may be coming from, that is problematic.  Your support of the YCAP Food Bank makes an enormous difference in the lives of children, families, and seniors by providing access to delicious nutritious foods today, tomorrow, and for each day forward.

Diane is looking forward to all the fun events wrapped around The Biggest Turkey competition, and invites you to stay tuned for all the details!  Gobble! Gobble! Learn more about YCAP at: http://yamhillcap.org/
