McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce has limited funds available for tuition assistance grants to students in the McMinnville, Amity, Dayton, Sheridan, Willamina and Yamhill/Carlton areas. These funds are to be used toward tuition costs at any accredited college, university, community college, trade or vocational school.

The Chamber of Commerce is asking for your help in notifying students about our scholarship program, available to the graduating seniors of schools in Yamhill County. The below application is self-explanatory, but we ask that you advise each student of the conditions and requirements of the application process.

The McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce especially wants to encourage all students, no matter which path to higher learning they select. Students with a GPA of 2.75 or higher are encouraged to apply. Qualifications for tuition assistance will be determined by the Chamber’s Scholarship Selection Committee according to the financial need, personal character, service-mindedness, academic record, and the sincere interest of the student to pursue further education, whether trade/vocational programs or college. Decisions made by the Selection Committee are final.

The McMinnville Area Chamber, because of our belief in encouraging entrepreneurship, has created a specific scholarship for a Yamhill County graduating senior who has participated in Lemonade Day McMinnville.

McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce would appreciate whatever efforts you can make to get the appropriate application form to those students. Please share this information with anyone that could identify and encourage students to apply.

You have our permission to duplicate the application forms. Completed applications can be sent directly to the Chamber office, either scanned and emailed (president@mcminnville.org), or mailed to the Chamber of Commerce office at 319 NE 5th Street, McMinnville, OR, 97128.

Thank you for helping the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce make a difference in a student’s life.  If you have any questions, please call the chamber at (503) 472-6196.
