The McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce kindly seeks your assistance in sharing information about our scholarship programs with graduating seniors from schools in Yamhill County. Below you’ll find details for each scholarship, how to apply, the process and an application form. We ask for your support in advising students about the various scholarship opportunities. Applications are due by April 10, 2026.

We strongly encourage all students to apply, regardless of the higher education path they choose.

1. MACC Scholarship

Students with a GPA of 2.75 or higher are invited to apply. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, personal character, community involvement, academic performance, and the student’s genuine commitment to further education, whether through trade/vocational programs or college.

The Chamber is also proud to offer a special scholarship for a graduating senior from Yamhill County who has participated in Lemonade Day McMinnville, reflecting our dedication to fostering entrepreneurship.

Application Process

To ensure eligible students are informed, please distribute the application forms as widely as possible. Feel free to share this information with teachers who can identify and encourage promising students.

2. Weber Scholarship

In partnership with the generous Weber Family, we’re pleased to announce the launch of a new, specialized scholarship program: the Weber Family Scholarship. We ask for your assistance in sharing this information with graduating seniors interested in pursuing a career in accounting.

Scholarship Details

The Weber Family Scholarship is designed to support a deserving graduating senior from Yamhill County who demonstrates a strong commitment to a career in accounting or as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Eligibility: Graduating seniors from any high school in Yamhill County are invited to apply.
  • Required Field of Study: The student must be pursuing an accredited college, university, community college, or vocational program with a stated major in Accounting or a related field with the intent to become a CPA.
  • Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, demonstrated service-mindedness (community involvement), academic performance (GPA), and a sincere commitment to their future education and chosen field.

Application Process for the Weber Scholarship

To ensure all eligible students are informed, please distribute the application forms as widely as possible. Feel free to share this information with teachers who can identify and encourage promising students, particularly those in business or math classes.

3. Lopez Scholarship

In partnership with the generous Lopez Family, is pleased to announce the Lopez Family Scholarship, a specialized scholarship program designed to support students pursuing careers in the skilled trades. We respectfully request your assistance in sharing this opportunity with graduating seniors who are interested in trade-based career pathways.

Applications are due by Friday, April 10, 2026.

Scholarship Details

The Lopez Family Scholarship is intended to support students entering high-demand skilled trades that are vital to the strength and sustainability of our local economy. Two scholarships of $1,500 each will be awarded to two graduating seniors from Yamhill County.

Eligibility and Criteria:

  • Eligibility: Graduating seniors from any high school in Yamhill County
  • Field of Study: Students must be pursuing education, training, certification, or apprenticeship in a skilled trade, including but not limited to landscaping, construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, manufacturing, automotive, welding, or other technical trades
  • Selection Criteria: Awards will be based on financial need, demonstrated service-mindedness or community involvement, academic effort, and a clear commitment to pursuing a career in the trades

Application Process for the Lopez Scholarship

To ensure all eligible students are informed, we encourage you to distribute the application as widely as possible. Please feel free to share this information with teachers, counselors, and staff who may identify and encourage students interested in technical or hands-on career paths.
