Now is the chance to enter the first ever McMinnville Downtown Association Scarecrow Contest! Entries must be installed by Monday, Oct. 14, and remain installed through Saturday, Nov. 2. They may be removed Sunday Nov. 3 or Monday, Nov. 4. Judging will take place Oct. 15-17; prizes will be awarded Friday, Oct. 19.

Use your imagination – traditional, humorous or contemporary – just be creative! Depict a favorite fairytale, animal, fantasy figure, movie or television character or historic person – the possibilities are endless. Remember, this is a community celebration. The goal is to generate good will and a festive atmosphere. No political, religious, off-color or profane displays will be allowed.
