Oregon will use a phased distribution approach to ensure vaccination is done in a fair and equitable way. Oregon began vaccinating frontline health care workers, first responders, residents and staff of residents of long-term care facilities and other groups on Dec. 12, 2021. People who work in a childcare, early learning or K-12 school setting will be eligible for vaccinations beginning on Jan. 25, 2021. People who are age 80 and older will be eligible for a vaccination beginning on Feb. 8.
If you have questions about the vaccine, go to the OHA site: https://covidvaccine.oregon.gov/ where you can learn when you are eligible and to get answers to other questions related to the vaccine roll out. All languages can email Orcovid@211info.org or you can call at 211 or 1-866-698-6155 (6am-7pm daily – in English and Spanish).
