What an incredible showing of community spirit, entrepreneurship, and support!
This year’s city-wide Lemonade Day was a resounding success, with over 640 youth setting up more than 100 lemonade stands across our city and county. Your support – whether as customers, sponsors, mentors, volunteers, or cheerleaders – made all the difference.
This event is about more than just lemonade. It’s about building a stronger, more connected, and more resilient community. Here’s how Lemonade Day benefits all of us:
For Our City:
Lemonade Day nurtures the next generation of small business owners right here in McMinnville and across Yamhill County. It brings neighborhoods together, boosts local foot traffic, and fosters a culture that values innovation, hard work, and local pride. When we support these young entrepreneurs, we’re also investing in a vibrant, economically thriving future.
For Our Youth:
Lemonade Day gives kids the chance to dream big and learn real-life skills—budgeting, goal-setting, customer service, marketing, and problem-solving. They gain confidence, learn the value of money, and experience firsthand what it takes to plan, build, and run a business. These are lessons that last a lifetime.
For All of Us:
Events like this remind us what’s possible when a community comes together. They spark joy, conversation, and connection—and they create shared memories that make our towns feel like home.
So again, we THANK YOU for showing up. You didn’t just buy a cup of lemonade — you supported a dream.
We can’t wait to see what these kids do next. Learn more about the Lemonade Day McMinnville youth entrepreneur program HERE!
