One of the best parts of being part of the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce is recognizing the businesses and individuals who go above and beyond to support our community. We are honored to award and recognize our Member of the Quarter. Our Award goes to two outstanding individuals—Kristi and Ray Reimer of Ray’s Leather and Furniture Repair.
Ray’s Leather and Furniture Repair is a true staple in our local business community. Kristi and Ray have built their business on expert craftsmanship, outstanding service, and a commitment to quality, ensuring that cherished furniture, leather goods, and heirlooms can be restored and enjoyed for years to come. They don’t just repair items—they help preserve history and memories for families and businesses alike. But their impact extends far beyond their business. Kristi and Ray are deeply invested in McMinnville, giving their time and energy to make our community stronger. Kristi serves on the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is the Chairperson of our Events Committee. In these roles, she has provided valuable leadership, insight, and hands-on effort to make Chamber events successful, engaging, and beneficial for local businesses.
One of the most notable examples of Kristi and Ray’s dedication was their work on last year’s Glide and Gather Winter Market. Kristi led the charge, putting in endless hours coordinating logistics, and ensuring that the event ran smoothly. Ray was right alongside her, lending his time and support to bring this festive and community-building event to life. Thanks to their leadership and hard work, our Ice Rink became the highlight of the holiday season and a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to connect with the community.
Kristi and Ray exemplify what it means to be active and engaged Chamber members. Their commitment to supporting small businesses, strengthening community ties, and giving back through leadership and service makes them truly deserving of this recognition.
