Despite the rainy weather outside, the Chamber’s first Women in Business was a huge success. R.Stuart Wine Bar was warm and cozy and the perfect place to get acquainted or re-acquainted with the area’s Business Women. Rene Bittle, VP and Chief Savings Officer of First Federal was the first “Successful Business Woman” to share her background and insight with the group. She credits her success to the “people” that mentored and encouraged her along the way. And now she enjoys mentoring others. She stressed keeping balance in your life outside of work and encouraged women to accept challenges and understand that everyone fails…..but remember to fail forward and you’ll achieve your goals at your job and in life.
