Lemonade Day McMinnville stirred up some tremendous success! Our 10th Annual Lemonade Day was another squeezable success. In fact…you could say it was AMAZING! City-wide, McMinnville featured 491 future business owners that set up shop and represented over 75 lemonade stands. Many of our youth prepped for months to include participation in our local ‘shark tank’ style business pitch competition and took part in practicing hosting a lemonade stand as they led up to the BIG city-wide celebration. On August 17th, the lemons started dropping as early as 9:00 am and were still dropping in the late afternoon and into the evening, making a full day of it.
Our future business owners displayed diverse products, gave great customer service, and showcased excellent brand creativity while passing out awesome smiles to everyone that they had the opportunity to do business with.
One of our favorite things about Lemonade Day are the Smiles on everyone’s faces and the sense of community that we embrace as we connect with friends and family while supporting our budding entrepreneurs!! We all benefit from Lemonade Day. Kids and Parents alike love Lemonade Day and the sense of accomplishment after a job well done! It feels good to work hard, see the impact made, and taste the sweetness of meeting our goals.
We make it our mission to help today’s youth become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow…one lemonade stand at a time where they are encouraged to save a little, share a little, and spend a little.
