The McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever Holiday Ice Skating Rink and Outdoor Christmas Market, set to bring festive holiday cheer to downtown McMinnville. The event will run on weekends from November 29 to December 22, 2024, and will be held at the Oregon Mutual Insurance Parking Lot, located at 400 NE Baker St, McMinnville, OR.
The rink and market will be a centerpiece of McMinnville’s holiday festivities, offering ice skating, local vendors, and opportunities for community engagement, all while supporting the mission and the work of the Chamber.
Event Highlights:
• Ice Skating Rink: Open to the public during the following times:
o Fridays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
o Saturdays: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
o Sundays: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Outdoor Christmas Market: Each weekend will feature 17 local vendors offering holiday crafts, gifts, food and much more. Vendor slots are available for rent at $250 per weekend.
• Volunteer Opportunities: The Chamber is seeking volunteers to help. Shifts will be available on a rotating basis throughout the event.
• Entertainment and Festivities: The event will include festive lighting, holiday music, and potentially a special appearance from Santa Claus.

The Holiday Ice Rink and Christmas Market aims to provide not only a memorable holiday experience for families and visitors but also a significant economic boost for local businesses. By creating an environment where vendors can showcase their products and services, the event offers a unique opportunity for small businesses to benefit from the increased holiday foot traffic.

• $5,000+: Major sponsors will receive prominent recognition and the opportunity to host a private skate session for their company.
• Additional sponsorship levels ranging from $1,000 to $3,500 offer various promotional benefits and exposure for participating businesses.
