McMinnville Lemonade Day is Saturday, August 17th. Join the fun and tastings throughout McMinnville on August 17.  You’ll find a variety of lemonade stands, run by youth, located throughout all of McMinnville. We encourage the community to get out and support the over 450+ youth entrepreneurs that are hosting Lemonade stands on this day.

With the help of partners like McMinnville Grocery Outlet, OnPoint Community Credit, Wild Haven Property Management, T-Mobile, Cascade Steel, US Bank, Nyman Foundation, and many others. Lemonade Day will continue to spark the spirit of entrepreneurship and empower youth to set goals, work hard, and achieve their dreams. If you’re interested in making a difference and becoming a program partner, please contact the Chamber of Commerce and ask about sponsoring a youth of McMinnville for Lemonade Day. For a full list of sponsors please visit the Lemonade Day page on the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce website. We greatly thank all our sponsors that participate in helping our youth become successful.

Lemonade Day is a national event inspiring kids to work hard through starting, owning, and operating their own business — a lemonade stand. Participants go through a step-by-step program that walks them from their dream to a business plan, all while teaching them the principles needed to start and run their own company. Though they are taught how to make a profitable business, they are also taught to spend and save money, and to share by giving back to their communities.

Lemonade Day teaches young people about entrepreneurship, but also prepares them for the world of work, where the necessary skills of timeliness, preparation, and determination are key to success in a job. Participants learn finance and money management, location selection, production scheduling, and marketing amongst many other things. We are helping to pave the way for the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.”  Learn more about Lemonade Day.
