June 17th Grilled USDA Prime Sirloin Steak Lunch to Raise Money for Juliette’s House

McMinnville, OR – June 3, 2011

Let’s do lunch! On Friday June 17th, join the employees at Freelin-Wade for grilled USDA Prime sirloin steaks. The $6 lunch is a fundraiser for Juliette’s House.

This year’s menu includes USDA Prime sirloin steaks grilled to order, with optional teriyaki glaze or sautéed mushrooms. Rounding out the meal will be a garden salad, potato salad, baked beans, bread, strawberry shortcake and a soft drink. A vegetarian option is also available. It’s the best deal in town but better yet, thanks to a donation by Freelin-Wade, every cent of the $6 will go directly to Juliette’s House.

The employee fund-raising team at Freelin-Wade call themselves “The Force”. Each year they choose a non-profit group to be the focus of their fundraising efforts. In 2011, that group is Juliette’s House.

Juliette’s House (www.julietteshouse.com) was created to provide a compassionate community-wide response to child abuse. Serving Yamhill and Polk Counties, Oregon, Juliette’s House performs medical and forensic assessments for suspected child abuse, offers treatment options and referrals to the children and their families, and provides follow-up support for up to one year. They work toward child abuse prevention through in-school abuse intervention and prevention education in Yamhill County public elementary schools via the Safe Kids (CAP) Program.
