Linfield University is the No. 1 private college in Oregon for online bachelor’s degrees, according to U.S. News & World Report. The university is listed among the 2026 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs announced by the publication. U.S. News evaluated online undergraduate programs based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials and services and technologies.

Linfield, which is tied at No. 125 overall, has owned the title of Oregon’s top private college for online undergraduate education since 2013.

“Being recognized again as Oregon’s top private college for online bachelor’s degrees reflects Linfield’s deep commitment to student success,” said Garry Killgore, Ph.D., Linfield’s director of lifelong learning. “Our online programs are intentionally designed to meet students where they are — providing high-quality, flexible learning experiences that support their goals and lead to meaningful outcomes.”

In addition, U.S. News also recognized Linfield on its 2026 Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Programs list. It is the only private college in Oregon on the list.

The rankings include only degree-granting programs offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions.
