Yamhill County is now accepting applications for the newest round of grant funding. The online application portal will go live at 8:00am on December 11th and will close at 11:59pm on December 20th.

These funds represent Yamhill County’s allocation of the State’s $55 million fund for business relief. Yamhill will be disbursing $1.4 million directly, up to $10,000 per award.

Eligible applicants must have a business located in Yamhill County that was adversely affected in either one of the following two ways:

● Businesses prohibited from operating as directed by Executive Order 20-65. (gyms/fitness, indoor rec, museums, indoor/outdoor entertainment, indoor/outdoor pools, sports courts, event venues, zoos, gardens, aquariums)

● Those businesses in the tourism, hospitality, and event sectors who were impacted by Executive Order 20-65 (defined as restaurants, bars, wineries, breweries, lodging, caterers, and event rental companies)

● Rural businesses impacted by closure and change of service orders related to the COVID 19 pandemic and the Executive orders 20-12 or 20-65

Eligible businesses must have 100 or fewer FTE (full-time equivalent) employees as of 11/31/2020

Grant recipients will be chosen through a lottery system. Priority will be given to entertainment, fitness, tourism, hospitality, and event sectors or those businesses forced to close due to the Governor’s ordered Freezes.
