“Beyond anything I do I’m a mom and being a mom is awesome!” – Diane Longaker

Diane is a very proud mother of 3 successful daughters and absolutely loves being a mom. She has served on the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce Chamber Ambassador Committee for over 2 years and has been a light, bringing her quirky, fun, and outgoing personality and get-it-done attitude to everything she is involved in. She has a huge heart for people and finds people very interesting. She enjoys connecting others to overcome obstacles and find solutions together.

Diane is currently employed for YCAP and has been a big part of the success of programs and events she has taken the lead on. She currently volunteers with the McMinnville Film Festival Foundation Board, Juliette’s House Board, Turkey Rama Planning Committee, and many more. She is also known for her recent past volunteerism with Soroptimist, Community Connect, McMinnville, Fire Department, and CERT.

In 2017 she was awarded two well deserved awards including the “Emerging Leader of the Year Award” by the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the “Cease Award of Excellence” by the Oregon Food Bank.

Diane also loves food and eating healthy because she cares very much about health, animals, and her carbon footprint, and believes that “food is medicine.”

Diane, thank you for all you do for your family, friends, and your community. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you for being a unique strength and talent, and for always showing up.

We appreciate and value you.
