Governor Brown announced a change to restrictions in Extreme Risk Counties. Most of the state remains in extreme risk category and there are modifications to guidance for indoor activities in those particular counties. The modifications, beginning January 29th to February 11, allow for a maximum of six people indoors at facilities over 500 square feet (for all indoor activities except for dining) with associated guidance for ongoing social distancing, cleaning protocols and face coverings. For facilities smaller than 500 sf, the modified guidance allows for 1:1 customer experiences such as personal training. The updated guidance for indoor recreation will be posted to coronavirus.gov by January 29th. The next assignment of risk level will be announced the week of February 9th. Oregon has seen a continued decrease in cases (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#compare-trends_newcases). Effective January 29 through February 11, there will be 25 counties in the Extreme Risk level, two at High Risk, two at Moderate Risk, and seven at Lower Risk.
