McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce CEO Nathan Knottingham will be traveling with 7 other Chamber of Commerce Executives from the Willamette Valley to the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou from October 4-13 in the People’s Republic of China. The trip may result in a special promotional offer for Chamber members and interested members of the public to travel as a group to China in October of 2015 at a special discounted rate. The tour is being coordinated by Citslinc International, a company which specializes in travel for Chambers of Commerce throughout the country.

“The upcoming trip presents an exciting opportunity to see the Chinese economy, meet with local elected leaders, and visit businesses in an international market,” said Knottingham. “Assuming the experience is worthwhile and impactful, we look forward to offering a group trip for local residents interested in learning more about Chinese culture and their economy in October of 2015.”

Over 20,000 people traveled with Citslinc International on Chamber of Commerce tours last year alone. Feedback from other executives has included a changed perspective of the country and their economic growth prospects.

If agreed to, the October 2015 China trip would be available to area residents at a cost of $2,299 per person. The cost covers a nine day, all inclusive tour of Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Shanghai as well as round trip airfare, three meals a day, and accommodations in 4 and 5 star hotels.

We encourage you to come back to the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce website www.mcminnville.org in November to read all about the experience.
