The McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to acknowledge Trena McManus of McMinnville Water and Light as a member of the quarter. Trena has been involved in a variety of activities in the community, most notably as the MacWater and Light community relations coordinator. At Turkey Rama last year, Trena was responsible for organizing and giving away about $1M worth of light bulbs, power strips and other energy saving devices obtained by a grant from Bonneville Power. She is active in the community, encouraging parents to participate in Take your child to work day, and she is currently coordinating Public Works Week highlighting the daily work that allows life to run smoothly and coordinates information programs such as “Energy Saves” . She is active in softball with her daughters and currently serves as the clerk on the Water and Light Commission. We delighted to present this award to Trena and thank McMinnville Water and Light for supporting her work in our community.
