According to a global management consulting firm, between vaccinations and natural infection, herd immunity could be attained by June. The CDC recommendation states prioritize front-line health workers (21M people) and long-term care facility residents (3M people) during the first phase of the rollout. The second group to be vaccinated focuses on frontline essential workers beyond healthcare and people over the age of 75. According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, their goal is for every American who wants to be vaccinated to get one by the end of June 2021.
